On page SEO (or on-site SEO) for optimizing a web page on both front end and back end for get place in search in organic way. Also comparing to off page SEO is a long term process.

On page SEO is important because it is used to create a high quality web page. Also important for both human eyes and search engine. Mainly it works on page speed, quality of web page.

TITLE TAG

Title tag is a web site element and it shows the title of web page . This title tag can place in the browser of title bar. It’s not easy to change your title tag because it plays important role in search engine. Title should be in 60- 70 characters. Our title for web page should be unique.

META DESCRIPTION

Meta description tag will shortly explain about our web page under title tag. Also this one of the snippet. This is a small content to describe our web page to the search engine. Length of meta description is up to 160-165 characters. Key word stuffing in meta description will cause negative impact in search engine result page. Use once or twice in meta description.

ALT TAG

ALT tag or Attribute tag describes image or at least what the image shows what the web page is about. Also it is used to show that the name of the image to the search engine. It also improves search engine and crawlers This is used to reuse the content without decreasing the SEO value.

HEADER TAG

Header tag is about heading of the web page (H1-H6). Header tag will improve the readability of the web page and increase SEO value. H1 be the main heading and other five tags will be sub section.

Open graph tags are snippets of code that controls how URLs are displayed when on social media. They make content more eye catching on the social media. They tell people what the content about. They help Facebook what the content is about which can help to increase
brand value. The main difference between open graph (OG) and meta tags are OG tag will used by social media Bots and meta description tag is used by search engine bots.

INTRENAL LINKING

Internal linking is a link from one page to another page on same domain. Internal link will come within a website domain, they do not come form other external source. Where as external link (Backlinks) will come from external source. Internal link will helps google find, understand and index on all of the pages on our web site. In internal link use keyword rich Anchor text. Google recommends that you can use the keyword in the anchor text.

SCHEMA MARKUP LANGUAGE

Schema markup also known as structured data. That helps search engine to understand your content and better represent it in the results.
There are three formats of schema markup language

  • JSON
  • RDFA
  • Micro data

Hence RDFA and Micro data are older format and it is error prone. Comparing to these two JSON is better for schema markup.

Google algorithm mainly look on to the page speed of our website  We don’t need to load more files or videos in our web site. This will make our slow and users doesn’t wait for long time to load. In image we need to use webp format. This format for high and low size. Page speed also differs on the desktop and mobile version. Under two second to load is good page speed.

Internal link come from the website domain. It is used link from one page another page in our same website. This has been absolute path or relative path. For every 2000 word we need to attach only 5-10 link. Google won’t crawl more than 150 links. So don’t over stuff the link in web page.
